The majority, or 86%, of the Harvard Fall 2017 Class’s evaluation found their $5,000 grant to Urbano to be a good decision with a good outcome because the funds were used clearly and as intended. However, 14% of students thought the grant was a mistake and that the programs it contributed to would have occurred with or without their donation. Urbano brings together practicing visual artists, local youth, and community members for various collaborative art projects. The grant helped Urbano develop an Artists in Residency program and an accompanying Youth Artist Project.
