The UW-Madison Fall 2016 Class found their $10,000 grant to Theatre LILA to be a good decision with a good outcome because the money was used as anticipated and they were able to see, in detail, the outcomes of their donation. This organization’s mission is to create inventive new works and bring transformational theatre experiences to our diverse community. The Connect grant funds went toward our education and outreach programming as part of their Racial Equity Initiative. Funding was used to pay teaching artists, actors, writers as well as cover costs of space rental to present various programs for teens and youth.
