Mural, Music, and Arts Project

For the most part, the Stanford University Spring 2017 Class’s evaluation found their $10,800 grant to Mural, Music, and Arts Project to be a mistake. A lot of students also designated the grant a good decision with a bad outcome. Mural, Music, and Arts Project connects disadvantaged youth with mentors and role models through art programs emphasizing community development and academic achievement. The grant was intended to fund community art, but evaluators did not receive a response from the organization when they attempted to obtain a two-year report. They were unable to confirm that the project was still operational and that the grant funding was being used appropriately.
