Mercy Project

All students on the Texas A&M University Spring 2018 evaluation team found their $8,000 grant to Mercy Project to be a good decision with a good outcome. Mercy Project is an organization aimed at rescuing children from slavery. They partner with families and communities trapped in the cycle of poverty, empowering them with sustainable economic solutions in order to free children from forced labor. The grant was used to hire 2 additional Social Workers to their child-after-care program. So far the organization has been able to rescue a total of 158 kids.
