Latino Health Access

The majority (78%) of the UC Irvine Winter 2017 Class’s evaluators found their $10,700 grant to Latino Health Access (LHA) to be a good decision with a good outcome because the organization was able to serve almost 2,000 people and produced successful programs. Another 11% of students found the grant to be a good decision with a bad outcome, while the remaining 11% thought the grant was a mistake, mostly due to a need for more information about the direct impact of the grant on the organization. LHA is a non-profit organization in the city of Santa Ana, California, focusing their efforts on public health and community engagement. This donation allowed families to continue enjoying the services provided by the park and community center.
