The Stanford University Spring 2015 Class’s evaluation found their $15,000 grant to Farms to Grow to be a success because it helped make great progress within the organization. The class even decided to award an additional grant of $15,000 in Spring 2017 to support the pruchase of a refrigeration unit and further growth. Farms to Grow works to empower supply side infrastructure and support farmers of color and community farming. This grant allowed the organization to increase its reach to more people with webinars and films. It also assisted the organization in providing opportunities for education and advocacy for agroecology.
