Children’s Bureau New Orleans

The Tulane Fall 2017 evaluation team found their $14,400 grant to Children’s Bureau New Orleans to be a good decision with a good outcome. Children’s Bureau New Orleans’ mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families in greater New Orleans through valid and proven programs that enhance and strengthen mental health and wellness. The grant went towards program funds, specifically to benefit Project LAST, which is the organization’s Loss and Survival Team. The grant supplemented this program by funding mileage reimbursements for the therapists, as well as miscellaneous program costs such as snacks for the children in therapy.
