While it is true that the pandemic forced
BridgeYear to shut down its CTDs and the organization was unable to complete the design and build of the CNC
Machining CTD Module, BridgeYear made the most of their situation. Ultimately, BridgeYear prepared itself for a
successful launch of the CTD Module by identifying the skill set to be simulated through the CTD Module; identifying the
scenario for students to “try on” through the CTD Module; narrowing down purchasing decisions down to two iterations;
and developing a plan for the CNC Machining CTD Module that will be implemented once programming can resume in
