BakerRipley

We believed that, although this was a good decision, it was a bad outcome. This is because the pandemic forced the center
to close in March 2020. Although BakerRipley received positive feedback from participants, COVID-19 prevented them
from implementing a scale to measure the impact of the program on reducing the stigma associated with the abilities of
individuals with dementia. Moreover, although they educated prospective and current partners on the abilities of
individuals with dementia and the purpose of the program, many organizations (especially those without longstanding
relationships with BakerRipley) were resistant to partner with their program.
