Animal Birth Control Clinic, Inc.

The Baylor Fall 2014 Class’s evaluators found their $17,300 grant to the Animal Birth Control Clinic, Inc. to be somewhat successful because it helped alleviate the burden of newborn puppies in the community, but did not go entirely as planned. Animal Birth Control Clinic, Inc aims to lower the amount of dogs euthanized by providing animal birth control to better control the population in Waco. The donation made great improvements in lives of pet owners and prevented the births of nearly 1,500 dogs. However, the organization had to change the communities it had originally chosen to focus its efforts on because they did not have the infrustructure to spread the word to enough people.
